God is not asleep. And He is perfect in all of His Ways. If God could have allowed our world to be any different, any better, any less evil, He would of made it so. Things must be as they are, for now. We will most often not understand, our minds too finite and selfish, our hearts too impure. But all is going according to God's perfect plan and timing.

Half a millennial ago, God allowed His Holy Word to reach the masses through common language translations and mass printing. However, this intended blessing, coupled with many non-denominational and old denominational churches, along with the unchurched church, allowed Christians to be their own apostles; their own creators of theological doctrine. Much of it is askew, imbalanced, missing the main point.
"[But] if [by Grace; by God's S(s)pirit] you fulfill the Royal Law according to the Scriptures...."
Js. 2:8a para.
In these last of the last days of this present dispensation, God the Heavenly Father and His Son Christ Jesus desire to restore apostolic Truth--to help His children overcome evil. As the Lord Jesus Himself did while here in the flesh, and then also did through the early church apostles and others deeply committed to Him, miraculous signs and wonders will confirm His Truth, His Way:
"You should walk in it."
2 Jn. 6b
